About Me

I have always been interested in rural life and skills.  I have learned to bake my own bread, dip and pour candles, embroider, hand sew, spin wool and other fibers, knit, weave, garden, raise sheep and chickens, and cook over an open fire with 18th century tools.  I invite you to pour a cup of tea and join me in exploring a quieter life.
